Federal Appeals Court in Los Angeles Hears Case On San Francisco's Health Care Reform Plan
A suit brought by the restaurant association and supported by the Bush administration is hoping to overturn a local San Francisco law designed to help the uninsured.
Once again the ERISA federal law passed in 1974 is being used to try and overturn a local law that requires medium and large size employers to act as part of the local community and share the social responsibility for providing health care for all.
